NIOSH Award Winning Videos by TriVision

TriVision is proud to have worked with James Green, a safety engineer for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) on an award winning 7-part video series highlighting ambulance crash test methods. The Health Information Resource Center awarded Green a Digital Health Award for the video’s focus on helping emergency medical service workers stay safe during a crash.

“With these new crash test methods, the patient compartment of an ambulance can become increasingly safer for both the patient and the worker,” commented Green for the Official NIOSH press release. “I am pleased that this work is being recognized and that EMS workers might now be better positioned to do the work they were trained to do, while still remaining properly belted in a moving ambulance. These new test methods also greatly reduce the risk of patient or work injury resulting from flying equipment and supplies.”

The NIOSH ambulance video series, Improving EMS Worker Safety Through Ambulance Design and Testing, contains interviews, live product demonstration and basic motion graphics. TriVision captured interview and b-roll footage in our green-screen room,  and worked with Green throughout the post-production process.

NIOSH is the federal institute that conducts research and makes recommendations for preventing work-related injuries, illnesses, and deaths.

We thank Green and the NIOSH team for making ambulances safer for all.
